Can Inherited Heart Disease Cause Heart Attacks?

I am a 45 year old women and I had all the symtoms of a heart attack so I went to the ER and was given an EKG and had blood work done the test came back fine,I was given nito to put under my tounge and baby asprin, I was addmitted to the ICU and the next day I had a CT scan done and all that showed was enlarged lymph nodes in my chest. I was sent home and have to have a stress test done. I still don't feel very good I am tired and weak and I am a little light headed. I do take Crestor and have for 4 years, my BP is low/normal most of the time but it was high when I got to the ER, I also have a small 9mm mass on my patuatary glan that has not changed much in the last 3 years but I always have a headace and pressure in my head nothing seems to help it. I have gained almost 30 lbs in the last 9 months but my eating has not changed. Almost everyone on my mothers side of the family have heart proplems or have died from heart problems, my aunt had first heart attack at age 43, grandmother died from heart attack at 53 my mother had 3 stents put in at age 54, everyone has high BP even my brother and sister. With the test that came back normal could I still of had a heart attack?

Dear Mrs,

Your relatives have heart problems, it increases your possibility of having heart disease, but it is not obligatory. If analyzes were normal, it means you don't have acute heart attack, and stress test will reveal whether you have coronary artery disease.

I hope I could help you

Have a good health
