Can Inadequate Bowel Movement Cause Bloating?

I'm a male 27 years old and I always feel like my stomach is full of air its always extended out and it looks weird. I'm 5'11 and 156 pounds so I'm very skinny. I also work out everyday.
There is no pain and I dont feel like I have to fart or burp. But I dont take bowl movements very often. Could that be it?
