Can Ice Pack Be Used To Reduce Swelling After Undergoing Nose Surgery?

Hi My Daughter had surgery on her nose for a BCC yesterday, she is not in much pain however she did not get much sleep last night, she has had an ice pack on it constantly & know its swollen, I told her not to put it on for to long a period, should she be using the ice pack & how often,,,, I had the same surgery 20 years ago & in the same spot,, thank u sorry thought this was a free service, don t worry

Ice pack after nose surgery is fine and should be used for three to four days; swelling is also common and as long as there is no pain, there is nothing to worry. Nose blowing must be avoided.
