Can I Take Nuva Ring. I Am Having Irregular Period

well heres the deal... i had my friend january 18 on time and normal. this month feb i saw a slimy clear stringy discharge 2 days before i was due....and only brown spotting on the 2nd and 4th days of what should be my cycle... i took 2 hpt and the first one was negative and the second showed a slight dot....i was also on 2 different antibiotics but used condoms... so i inserted my nuva ring when i was supposed tooo but i dont know whats going on..... anyone have any ideas?????

Hi.. A positive reports on the pregnancy test, indicate pregnancy..  A few antibiotics may alter the effects of Nuvaring and can render it ineffective while on antibiotics... Hence get a repeat pregnancy test or may be a blood test for pregnancy to confirm your previous report...
