Can I Take Metformin After Diagnostic Laparoscopy?

Hi, I would like to ask if after Diagnostic Lap performed on my ovaries (only last Thursday) I should still take Metformin (Glucophage) in order to get pregnant or shall I wait until I have a regular period and start checking on the cycle from there onwards? Many thanks in advance, Cathy (31).

Hi,
Thanks for your question.
Diagnostic Laparoscopy has nothing to do with Glucophage.
You should continue your treatment as advised. Diagnostic Laparoscopy will not effect your period or treatment, it is just a procedure to have a look into your abdomen & to check tubal patency.
Wish you best of luck.
Best regards.
