Can I Start Taking Birth Control Pills After My Periods Inspite Of Having PCOS?
Hi, I have been prescribed Levlen to assist with PCOS symptoms. I just finished my period and do not want to wait to start, I have been off the pl For 10 years. Not at risk of falling pregnant as my husband had a vasectomy. Can I start taking it now? And where do I start
Hi, Thanks for your question. You can start it any time of the cycle since indication for you is not the birth control but cycle regulation. You may experience irregular bleeding during the first few months of it's use but as soon as an artificial cycle is established due to this medicine, you will get good cycle control. Wish you good health.
