Can I Start Breastfeeding Again After Some Period Of Time?

I breasted my baby for the first 2 weeks and then started formula. Now she is almost 6 weeks old and I still have some milk that I can express from my breast if I squeeze them. Could I start breastfeeding again? Would my milk supply increase again or is it too late?

Hi, thanks for writing..
Yes, you can start breast feeding.. Breast feeding is important for your baby both for immunity and bonding.. There is no evidence that it increases the breast milk after 6 weeks.. But taking lots of fluid with protein rich diet help to increse breast milk along with sucking reflux.. If breast milk is not adequate you can give artificial feed along with breast milk..Hope I have answered your query.. Good day..
