Can i have ragi in pregnancy ?

my sister is 5 week pregnant can be given ragi for increase of iron my sister is pregnant, can we give her ragi to inprove iron

In first 3 months of pregnancy iron requirement is not much. Ragi can be given as long as it is tolerated. Oral iron preparations (Tablets) should be avoided till 12-16 weeks of pregnancy due to its side effects. Take care.
