Can I Give Meftal P Syrup Again As He Is Still Having Fever?

Hi my son is 3.3 years old and suffering with fever .i couldnt judged the tep as my thermometer is broken.however his body is too warm si i have given meftal p syrup at around 10 night and now after a little sponging can i repeatvthe dose as his body is still hot.
