Can I Give Ambroxol Hydrochloride Instead Of Broncho Free?

my 3month old daughter is suffering from light cough and cold.i came to maharashtra today from kolkata, but the kolkata doctor prescribed bronchofree juice somthing but i havent brought it with me ,then from the local medical shop advised me to use ambroxol hydrochloride drops instead as the broncho one is not available here.can i give that drop to my child doctor?

Yes you can give it to your daughter for cold and cough.But don't give it for more than 4-5 days.Actually for infants less than six months cough syrups are not needed.It will take 7-8 days for cough to disappear.
