Can I Continue With The Present Blood Pressure Medicines?

Can I continuously take aten 25 for the control of my blood pressure, along with enam 5mg. I had been BP patient for the past 20years. I have been on aten25 and enam 5mg for the past 8years each one tablet per day after break past. My BP is well under control. IAM 62 years old male. My heart beat is around 60 beats per minute. No other side effects or symptoms. pl advice.

Hi welcome to HCM
YOU should continue with your current medications to keep your BP under control.you should never stop it.If you stop your medications it will create overload on your heart and leads to heart failure.continuous monitoring of BP with periodic checkup of lipid profile,ECG,2Dimensional echo,complete blood picture.low salt diet and high protein diet with intake of fruits will be helpful.consult your cardiologist for follow up and medication for every 2months.
