Can Hypothyroid Cause Dark Circles And Severe Hair Fall?

I am 36 year old female, weight : 49 kgs. I have son of 4.5 years old. I am a software professional with quiet challenging work load. I am hypothyroid patient, do take Eltroxin (100 mcg) tablet 1 per day.

My eyes have gone inside (almost an inch) and have severe dark circle under and above my eyes. I had severe hairfall in last 2 months. Request you to let me know if this has any remedy.

I have gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.

You have hypothyroidism. Your hair fall may be due to hypothyroidism. Dark circle around eye may be due to some vitamins deficiency or hypothyroidism. You need to check your TSH level and set the dosage of accordingly. You can use minoxidil if you have severe hair fall which can not controlled by thyroid supplement.
