ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

Long standing perforations rarely heal. You might need a surgery to close the perforation.

If there is no other ear pathology and its just a hole in the ear drum, we usually close this hole through ear canal, without any external incision.

You will be fine.

Hope i have answered your question. If you you have any questions, I am happy to help you.

Wish you a good health and speedy recovery.

Regards,
