Can Hole In Ear Be Treated With Medication?

Hi,I am 31 years old and had a infection in left ear and after that i cleaned my ear from doctor. Later all of a sudden one day my right ear was paining a lot. So i went to doctor and she told me there is a hole in ear. She has suggested medication which i am following but i am having slight headache which is not regular. Do i need additional treatment? is this curable? Regards Amit

hello, thanks for your query, perforations(holes) in ear drum will heal on it s own, see to that you need to stop getting infections like-repeated nose-sinus,allergy. throat-tonsillitis, repeated throat infection. swimming or water per ear during bath, where water enter per ear and infections continues. repeated attempts of putting ear buds. take care of these issues, your perforation will heal on its own. hope i have answered your query, all the best. take care.
