Can Herniated Disc Cause Dizziness?

I had an mri done and have a bulging disc at l3-l4, a herniated disc at l4-l5. Lately I have had light headedness, and dizziness. Just started within the past 2 weeks. Happened about 5 times. Would this be related to the lower back issue or something else

Hi

Thanks for posting your query.

No there is no relation between your lumbar disc problem and dizziness. There is something else which is causing this problem .

Dizziness can be due to simple causes like low or high BP, low blood sugars, Thyroid problems, inner ear problems, anemia ..

Dizziness can also be due to serious problems like heart problems or brain problems.

I advise you to consult a physician for the evaluation of cause of giddiness.

Any clarification feel free to ask.
Happy to help.
