Can Hcg Injections Help Reduce Weight?

Hi aim a 33 yr old male who is HIV positive. I take care of myself and my HIV levels are undetectable due to sestina and epzicom . I have gained some weight and find it harder to lose and I am considering doing hcg injections. Should I be concerned or is this ok to do?

HCG should not be advised In fact nothing should be tried without medical supervision , more so because you are HIV +. It is a matter of great satisfaction that you have gained some weight , otherwise this disease is even known as 'slim disease'. How much weight have gained ? What is your height ? We can calculate your BMI (Body Mass Index) to see if you are overweight or obese and then think of any intervention.
BMI =height in meters squared / Weight in Kgs , If it is 25 , you are overweight and > 30 is gross obesity .
Hope this helps
