Can Having Sex After Taking I-pill Make Me Pregnant?
Hello Doctor, I had unprotected sex during the afternoon yesterday. I took an i-pill within an hour. but after having the i-pill we had unprotected sex again at night. Is there a chance of getting pregnant? Do I need to take another i-pill or will the previous i-pill protect me??

i-pill is equally effective if you have had sex several times over a short period. But care should be taken that all acts have occurred within 72 hours before taking i-pill.
i-pill is an emergency contraceptive to be taken only for the current act of unprotected sexual intercourse.
In your case the chances of pregnancy is less but not nil. You are suppose to use a barrier contraceptive such as condom, spermicide or cervical cap, till the next menstrual period for each intercourse that happens after you've taken i-pill.
Wait for you next period and if it is delayed take a home pregnancy test. Sometimes period may be delayed which is a side effect of taking i pill.
If you are not planning for a baby then use some regular contraceptive methods like condom, OCP etc. i pill is not safe in the long run.
