Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
If the convulsions occur at the height of temperature, they are called febrile convulsions.
Usually febrile convulsions spontaneously become normal after 6 years of age.
But the EEG will be normal.
If EEG is abnormal naturally it is epilepsy and need prolonged treatment upto 3-5 years depending on the response.
Continue Epilex as prescribed by your doctor.
Ofcourse frizium and paracetamol as well as sponging are the choice of treatment for febrile convulsions.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
