I fractured my left shoulder several months ago, and since then l have persistent tinnitus in my left ear. My G.P said my left eardrum was dull in colour instead of being pink. She prescribed antibiotics, but the tinnitus persists. Please assist. Thank you.

Hi.
Thanks for your query, read and understood your history and concerns.

It looks when you had the accident that caused the fracture of the shoulder also had an impact on the inner ear apparatus of hearing causing the tinnitus you have.
Such tinnitus are self-limiting and there is no sure-shot treatment for such a case.
You may also try the alternative therapies like acupressure meditation and all,.
The stress and anxiety have a direct bearing.
