Can Fluctuating Blood Pressure, Migraines And Shivers Be Recurrence Of Stroke?

Hi my name is Jessica im 35 years old. I have had a cva stroke in 2009 and do have hypertention. I am worrid I may have hador may be coming into another cva. im very shaky, blood pressure changes, migrane that's not going away with medication and getting worse. last night I was realy shaky sat down for a minue and woke up in my own urine. I called my cardiologist thinking it may be the new meds but, its not likely. I had all these similar events prior to my stroke. im wondering if its possible or maybe just a migrane and a onset of a cold or flu?

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your current symptoms and would like to reassure you that most likely these are not related to a recurrence of stroke.

However, constant headache needs evaluation, by doing a CT scan of brain.

The episode of waking in urine could indicate that you had a seizure, which could be related to your past stroke (post-stroke seizure).

Please consult a neurologist.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,
