Hello doctor. I had an i pill and got withdrawal bleeding within 1 week of taking the ipill. Since the first day of that cycle i started taking femilon. 6 days later i started having spotting again. Is that alright? Can femilon be used after taking i-pill?
Yes- you can certainly start taking monthly cycle birth control pills after taking the ipill. The fact that you are spotting before your first period on the new pill is not unusual, many women have spotting in the first few cycles when they begin taking oral contraceptives. In addition, depending on where you were in your previous cycle when you took the ipill, this may be your real "period" sneaking through from your previous cycle (even though you had withdrawal bleeding from the ipill).
So if you miss your period at the end of this pack, I recommend you perform a urine pregnancy test and if it is negative, just give the Femilon a little more time to fully control your cycle. If after 3 months taking the Femilon you continue to have spotting in between periods, you may benefit from a different brand of birth control pill.
I hope i was able to adequately answer your question today and that my advice was helpful.
Hi greetings. Yes you can take femilon after I pill provided you have aborted fully and pregnancy is not continuing. I pill will not prevent pregnancy always .There are failures and incompleteness with it ..So make sure that your uterus is empty and then continue I pill. So I suggest you to consult a gynaecologist .hope my answer helps you. Regards
