Can Fabolite Help Reduce Weight? Has ILD, On Defcort. Explain?
Can fabolite help reduce weight? My father suffers from ILD and is on Defcort 6 mg. lately he has been dropping weight. His RBC morphology is normal. Hb a bit low at 12.5 ( ref range 13.5 ), platelets are normal. Vit B12, Vit D all in normal range. Renal functions too almost normal. Why is he loosing weight? Kindly guide. Thank you n regards

Fabolite is just isabgol powder used for constipation, as it increases the roughage quantity of stool.
It has no effect on the weight, increase or decrease in weight can not be attributed to this medicine.
