Hello Amit,
Thanks for using healthcaremagic.
Yes erectile dysfunction(ED) can be cured.
You seems to be suffering from erectile dysfunction(ED), but cause is likely psychological not physical considering your age..
First of all you need to check for your blood pressure and diabetes(sugar). If both are normal, your ED is due to psychological causes and I guess both tests will be normal for you.. Hope you do not have addiction of tobacco chewing, smoking and alcohol. If anything among these is used, please stop.
For treatment two types of methods.
One is medicines in which sildenafil or tadalafil like medicines can be used which are taken just before 1-2 hours of sex. These medicines generally causes headache.Other drugs are trazodone, yohimbine or testosterone which is given according to need by psychiatrist/sexologist.
Another medicine is called methylfolate+pyridoxal phosphate (trade name tetrafol plus ) which is taken twotimes after meal daily.it may effective in some patients with homocystiene deficiency.
Another treatment option is sex counselling which includes couple counseling, master& johnson technique and so on.If I were your treating doctor, I would like to prefer behaviour & counselling therapy first.
So you should go to psychiatrist/qualified sexologist for consultation and decide your treatment after discussion with him.
Hope I have answered your query, late me know if still any info needed.
Regards, Dr. Chintan Solanki
