Can Enlargement Of The Lymph Glands Cause A Larger Cardiac Shadow?

I have had several symptoms indicative of lymphoma over a couple of years (night sweats, fever, dizziness, vertigo etc.) I now have chest pain in the middle of my chest. I had an xray done and it shows a larger than normal cardiac shadow. Could this shadow be caused by enlargement of the lymph glands there?

Lymphoma is a condition which causes enlargement of various groups of lymph nodes with loss of weight and generalized weakness. Two years is a long to for lymphoma to manifest without any additional symptoms. The chest X ray needs to be interpreted carefully. Lymphnodes around the heart can appear as an enlarged heart shadow but this needs to be confirmed by doing a CT scan chest in most cases. Other than lymphoma there are many other conditions which can cause lymphnode enlargement.
