Can Emeset Cause Any Harm During Pregnancy?

hello doctor, I am 13 weeks pregnant & vomit 3-4 times a day. I am worried about the development of my baby as I can t take healthy diet because of vomiting. Also the medicines are expelled as soon as I take them. Also I am not able to take the syrups( iron and minerals) prescribed to me. My doctor prescribed emeset in case of severe vomiting. Is it safe? How often can I take it?

Hello madam,I understand your concern.dont worry you can take emeset in case of severe vomitings.once or twice per day depending on the severity.relax some people will have more vomitings but they will be controlled usually by 20 wks.dont have spicy diet.take food frequently every 2 hrs in small quantities.take good amount of fluids like water,coconut water,fruit juices.
