Can drop in blood sugar cause the problem of night eating ?

Dear Dr. I am a 27 year old female, 5 2 and 110 pounds. I have been suffering from night eating for 5 years. I had always thought it was just psyhological but when I had glucose tolerance test , my blood sugar dropped to 50 mg/dl in 1,5 hours and 39 mg/dl in 2 hours. Then it increased to 77 mg/dl (which is also my fasting blood sugar) in 3 hours. But I didn t go through shaking or fainting , I was just feeling light headed and weak. I am not sure if I am reactive hypoglycemia or if I have a pancreas tumor . I don t know what causes my blood sugar drop so much. I constantly wake up in the middle of the night and I crave sugar. I almost binge eat every night in my sleep. Most of time I have cold sweats in my sleep and wake up soaked in sweat. I tried everything to stop night eating but it just does not stop. I am really worried and I want to know if it s my blood sugar which wakes me up hungry in the middle of the night. I appreciate for your concern in advance.

Get your insulin level done along with serum electrolytes. Please do inform me about reports. It is not a psychological reason for drop in blood sugar.
