Can Docolax And Miralax Cause Immediately Stop In Bowel Movement?

I have had chronic diahrea for the past 6 weeks. My doctor has me scheduled for a colonoscopy tomorrow morning. My problem is I have taken the docolax and miralax for the past 8 hours and am unable to produce a bowel movement. Should I keep taking it or quit and call the doctor tomorrow. I feel like I a m going to explode. My app t is a 8 am and its now 2 a.m. Should I continue with the miralax now.?

Hi there,
Thanks for using HCM.
You should get a bowel movement within 2-3 hours after taking Miralax for bowel preparation for colonoscopy. Since you have not had a bowel movement even after 8 hours and that you you feel your abdomen is distended, it is better to stop taking anything further and report to your doctor immediately.
