If I was given a blood diabetes test four months ago and received a normal glucose result, would it be possible for me to have developed diabetes within that time? I ask because for the last month I have been experiencing a strange sort of high like dizziness on and off along with headaches. I ve had blood tests for my liver and thyroid and I believe kidneys? that have all returned normal, and I ve recently had an MRI that I m waiting for the results on. I don t know if I should ask my doctor to do another test for diabetes. I ve been drinking a lot of water lately, and since I m on summer vacation I m pretty stress free. I m 18 and female, with absolutely no chance of pregnancy. Other symptoms I m not sure are related include some neck pain, anxiety (mostly over medical things), and infrequent fatigue in the middle of the day. I also had an ear infection shortly before all of this started, but I took all of my antibiotics when I was supposed to, and the infection is gone. I m almost never sick (this is the most I ve ever been to the doctor in any given year) , but I am over weight and tend to worry over every little thing.
