Can Dehydration Cause Loss Of Balance With Still Vision In A Teenager?
My 16yr old son had a weird episode today. He was standing in the hallway and was looking my way but his eyes went still and he was staring ahead not focusing on anything. I was concerned and then he fell down on the floor on his side for a short time. I am assuming from his lack of healthy choices he was probably dehydrated and passed out because of it. He had mentioned earlier after leaving church that he was very thirsty so he grabbed a bottled water and downed it. I still feel I should be concerned and look further into the cause of this. What do you think?
