Can Dark Brown Spotting And Blood Clots Signs Of Pregnancy?

i usually had a regular period..last month April i missed my period and this month on the 16 i had spotting with dark blood clots last only for a day and on the 19 i had an ultrasound and was told i wasn t pregnant. Just last Monday 26 i lifted something really heavy and on the next day early morning i had spotting and stain like with dark blood clots again and thats it is just a one off time..last nigh i was worried so i took a pregnancy test this morning but the result was negative..please need your advice am i really pregnant??

If the sonogram has excluded pregnancy, it is unlikely that a pregnancy could have been missed. You can also cross-check through the estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres. From the history of bleeding on exertion, local causes like polyps also should be excluded. The sonogram also should be repeated in a week and through the trans-vaginal route. A local exam is needed. If no local cause is found and the sonogram is normal, hormone profile is the next step to help plan further management. Hope this helps.
