Can Cough Remedies Cause Severe Cold?
my 73 yr old husband has had a heavy cold this week and last night lost power in his legs and could not get out or the bath and fell over on the bedroom floor.could this be a side effect of various cough remedies? he can walk this morning but still feels wobbly

Usually cough syrup ( allopathic ) contains antihistamine and all antihistamine produces mild degree sedation or drowsiness . Usually these effects varies from patient to patient . The intensity of sedation drowsiness also depend on the type of cough syrup salt ( ingredient ) .
Usually elderly patient are more prone to these side effects .
