Welcome to Health Care Magic.

I have gone through your query.

The problem you have mentioned ( Dermtographism) is due to Physical Urticaria. Attacks are usually due to scratching, itching,or firm pressure on skin.

Irony is that you dont know which agent causes it . Therefore You need not worry about working in a glass fiber industry, as the glass fibers will not directly cause you urticaria unless you handle the glass directly and if that causes pressure.

YOu dont need specific treatment unless it is troublesome.

Using antihistaminis like fexofenadine, loratidin, dimenhydramine, levocetrizine etc., will help you.

But some of these might cause you drowsiness. So i recommend you to take non drowsy preparations like fexofenadine, desloratidine.

Wish you all the very best for your job

Take care

Hi..dear zain...,
Thanks for choosing HCM..,
Dermographism is a physical urticaria with a specific set of symptoms that separate it from other types of urticaria. Diagnosis of this skin problem can be difficult as illustrated at the dermatographism diagnosis page. Dermatographism can also be associated with the other physical urticarias ..., Occasionally these physical urticarias are referred to as different types of dermographism..,
