Can Colonized MRSA In A Man Resist Conception In His Partner Or Affect Child Development?

My son has colonized MRSA, he and his wife have been trying to get pregnant for 5 years but no results, they have seen fertility specialists etc, It just occurred to me that they may not have thought to mention the MRSA. What I would like to know is #1 can this be their problem? #2 can my sons sperm(if it contains MRSA) cause problems in the childs development if they were to get pregnant?

Hi. MRSA is Methillin resistant staph aureus infection, which is more common in people with low immunity, I/V drug users, in hospitals or prisons.

But it can very well be treated with appropriate antibiotics, don't worry. This is not the cause for infertility and your Dr. will treat everything and will not have any effect on child development.
Thanks.
