Can Chronic Cough And Diarrhea Affect Pregnancy ?

Hey, Im 21 5 7 And currently weigh 197 pounds. Im 36 weeks pregnant and 1cm dilated. My blood pressure has went up this past week, Now i have a cronic cough and diarrhea . My whole body is sore . This is my first pregnancy, Is all of this normal?

hi Lori,thanks for query.Some rise in blood pressure do occurs near term.Still one has to be watchful and keep measuring it on regular basis.Chronic cough and diarrhea is not common and you should not ignore this,please visit your primary care physician get this treated.Any infection should not be ignored in pregnancy.

Diarrhea & cough both needs treatment .As diarrhea can cause oligohydroamnios or decrease liquor around foetus .So treatment for both is essential.
