Hello and welcome to HCM,
There are three subtypes of Chlamydia.
One subtype causes sexually transmitted disease called lymphogranuloma venerum (LGV), other a eye infection called trachomatis and the last one psittacosis.
LGV is a sexually transmitted disease.
A antigen test for Chlamydia needs to be done of you want to know your infection status. The test can be done in both you and your partner.
LGV is not known to occur by non-sexual route.
Uncircumscribed penis (penis with foreskin) does not increase the incidence of LGV.

Thanks and take care
