Can Celebrex Cause Shakes And Equilibrium Problem?

my mother is 82 yrs old and she has started shaking like shes cold but shes not. She just recently recovered from a severe bladder infection and had to be in the hospital and then rehab. I was wondering if her being on Celebrex could cause her shakes and equilibrium problem. At the present time her meds include nexium, glimerperide, lexapro, myrebetriq, metformin, propranol, levothyroxin, spironolactone. thank you

Celebrex (celecoxib) may not be the drug that could have caused the shakes and equilibrium problem.
As your mother is shivering as if she is in cold, I would have ruled out any persistent infections. A complete blood picture along with differential counts would be of help here.
A flu-like shivering is also associated with lexapro (escitalopram); and levothyroxine can cause tremors. But if she is taking the above two medications for long without any side effects. Then it is highly unlikely that these drugs can be the culprit.
I hope the above points will help in taking decision about the medications for your mother and do discuss them with your prescriber.
