Can Bystolic Control Sinus And Migraine?

In January I was prescribed a low dose of bystolic. I was dealing with various health issues with my parents. I have not had blood pressure problems before this. When the nurse was taking my dad I asked to have mine taken because I was stressed over the top!!! My pressure was 140 over 90. I don t think I will be on this too long now my readings are low this am 106/68. But now to my question I usually have sinus issues which lead to a migraine since taking bystolic I have not had sinus trigered migraines. Is this a coincidence?

Hi
Thanks for posting your query on HCM
I have read and understood your concern.
Absence of symptoms of sinusitis and migraine may just be a coincidence as this drug is not known to prevent or treat these conditions. Also, a single BP value of 140/90 is not enough to conclude you are hypertensive.I will advise you see the Doctor for evaluation and to determine if you are indeed hypertensive or not.
Hope this will help. You may write back if more concerns.
Wish you good health
