Can Brown Discharge With Cramps Be Symptoms Of Pregnancy?

hi i had metrotrexate injection on the 14/05/2011 and in june i started my proper perids on the 21/06/2011, in july i was getting cramps and stared on the 22nd july but they stopped after 2 days and stared getting brown discharge but i had home pregnanc test and it come negative could i still be pregnant

Hallow dear,

Please understand that brown discharge is never a sign of pregnancy. In fact any brown discharge during pregnancy is looked upon as an alarming sign since it indicates risk to the baby.

You had your menses on 22nd July which is well in time. So cramps cannot be attributed to pregnancy. Still if you have doubt, wait till 1st of August and then get urine pregnancy test and/or ultrasonography performed to rule out/detect the pregnancy. Before that, the tests will be inconclusive.
