Can Black Spots On Spine Be Symptoms Of Multiple Myeloma?

My brother was diagnosed with 6 black spots along bottom of spine, they said they are going to cut into his back and take out section and check it. Our mother had mutiple myelome, could this be early stages of this. Also he has had a history of bad back pain.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Multiple myeloma does not present as black spots anywhere on the body.
Black spots on the skin can be due to pigmentary lesion.
Clinical examination of the black spots is required.
Treatment of the black spots depends on the diagnosis of the lesions.
