Can Bird Poop Intake By A Yr Old Lead To Diarrhea, Fever And Bloody Mucus Stools After 6 Wks?

hi
6 weeks ago we were at a park and my 1 year old licked goose/bird poop and licked it. we are not sure the amount if any that she actually swallowed.
6 weeks later now she has had bad diahree for a week and now developed high fever and bloody mucus stools can this be related?

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
If any problem occurs usually it occurs within 48 hours.
High fever and diarrhea after 6 weeks is not due to licking bird stools.
I don't think any relation between the two.
Most probably it is infective diarrhea unconnected with the past incident.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
