Can Bipolar Disorder Create Unreal Infatuated Feelings?

my bipolar gf just broke up with me last week and im wondering if she will ever come back... its frustrating
is her manic state (hypersexual for example) was the time I believe she was infatuated with me... does that mean her feelings/traits towards me were fake from the beginning?

Greetings.

Well if your ex girlfriend was in a manic state at the time she first met you and professed her feelings for you then it is quite possible that she was being compelled by her underlying mania to have attraction and infatuation for you, so unfortunately her feelings for you under the influence of mania cannot be considered as genuine right from the start.

I hope this helps.

Regards
