Can Being Off Mini Pill Noriday Cause Delayed Periods?

I have recently come off of the mini pill noriday due to it mucking me about. I am now three days late waiting for my regular period to kick in, very unusual as i am bang on 26 days without fail, and have had no change in cycle since the beginning

Hi,
I understand your concern.
Mini Noriday is a single hormone ( progesteron only) contraceptive.It is known to cause irregular periods.( delayed, early, scanty, profuse)
- Your delay in period can be due to the side effect of contraceptive
Mini noriday if dropped in between can loose it's contraceptive effect.
-So there is risk of pregnancy also-
You should exclude pregnancy by blood HCG test if period does not come within 3 weeks of withdrawing pill & keep using other contraceptive major ( condom) till you get periods & adopt other contraception suitable to you.
