HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, as a matter of fact bacterial vaginosis is nothing but condition is indicative of some bacterial infection and it could be any bacteria like "Neisseria gonorrhea" bacteria and vaginosis is not separate disease condition from "Gonorrhea" if the diagnosis is doubtful then better to get it confirm you may have second test and opinion too, hope this information helps. (It may not be gonorrhea but could be other organism caused the vaginosis )
I find this answer helpful
