hi i think i might be pregnant but i cant understand how i hve the implant in my right arm but i had sex well over a month ago when i was on my peirod n now iv missed nearly 2 i hve a lot mre discharge then normal feelin tired bloated n hard tummy n i can feel little flutters in my tummy i feel sick but im not actually sick i also hve backache i hve took a couple of test but it said i was not pregnant coulld i still be

Hallow Dear,

Sexual relations while on periods are most unlikely to cause pregnancy, since during that phase, there is no egg released to get fertilized. Moreover you have implant, so you are protected.

Implants contain progesterone and hence are known to minimise the menstrual flow of even have no flow also.

Since it is 2 months of missed period, pregnancy test on urine will resolve the dilemma.

Please report this loss of periods to your Gynaecologist.
