Can Azitrox And Doxycycline Be Taken Together Safely?

It was recommended I take azitrox and doxicycline together for a chlamydia pneumonia infection and asthma. 1000 mg azitrox weekly (14 weeks) and 100 grams dox. twice daily (3 weeks)Is it ok to take them at the same time? Is ok to quit with the one before the other?

I can understand your concern.
Yes, since there is no harmful interaction between the two prescribed medications hence can be taken together safely.
Both Azithromycin and Doxycycline are recommended together for treatment of pneumonia caused by the atypical bacteria Chlamydia pneumoniae.
It is also safe to quit the one (Doxycycline) before the other (Azithromycin), as there is no adverse effect while doing so.
