Please see if there is any associated disease like blood pressure;diabetes along with the swelling ;also see whether she has any associated symptom like redness;itching;whether she had any sprain during work.Better get her physically examined by a doctor to find the cause of swelling after that she can be treated with medicines and should feel better.
