Can Any Online Doctor Help In Explaining X-ray Result?

hi! I had uterine cancer almost 5 years ago. I have to do a chest xray every so often. my last xray showed minimal linear scarring at the left lung base. what does that mean and is it a cause for concern. I was a little worried because my father passed away from asbestos 9 years ago.

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

You don't worry and it is not the cause for concern.
Scar/Fibrosis in the chest are sequel of infection and it is formed during healing process.
It shows that infection is healed and patient is having no active infection.
However fibrosis is also due to many other causes.

Take Care
