Hi I had a root canal on molar #15 with 3 roots by an Endodontic dentist on the 26th and had a good experience. No pain. I just finishes my amoxicillin that was prescribed and developed dizziness on the 28th. I thought the strong dose of the medication might be causing it ( 500mg three times a day) did not take any today and symptoms are persistent. I ve had root canals before and not had a problem. Any advise is appreciated.
HI. The cause of Vertigo can not be Amoxicillin. You may have a problem with the middle or inner ear like Otitis Media. Get an opinion of an ENT Surgeon and / or Neurologist to get the proper diagnosis and treatment. Take care as you should not be alone as one can not control the dizziness,. start the proper medicines and get a full bed rest till you are investigated , diagnosed and cured.
