Can Antibiotics Be Discontinued Despite Left Abdomen Mild Pain?
Hello dr. I had cough cold and fever on 20th feb hence srarted cefadroxyl 500 mg twice a day for 6 days but when fever didnt go, i went for blood rest for vidal test which was +ive. I took then cefixime 200+ofloxacin 200 twice a day for 15 days. Fever stopped after starting above course and i have no fever for past 14 days. Hence my dr asked me to stop this course and asked to take b complex and light good. I feel mild pain in left right and lower abdomen. Is there anything to worry and is it ok to stop now antibiotics? What to do... thanks
Yes you can stop it now. For pain you can take acetaminophen. It takes some time to completely recover from the ill state. Take healthy diet. Avoid fatty & carbohydrate meals at the moment.
