Can Anal Fissures Or Hemorrhoids Cause A Bad Odor?

Can anal fissures or hemorrhoids cause a bad odor, like fishy or trashy odor from that area? I wash twice a day and make sure i scrub my under carriage thoroughly but after sitting for a while i get a bad smell from my buttocks area. It smells either fishy or like trash and my anal area is sore due to the scrubbing. It is so embarrassing and people make rude comments. Sometimes I don t notice the smell until I get around a crowd of people. I try not to put anything down there like powders or creams because that will make the odor worse. I felt my anus while wiping and notice 3 to 4 bump like nodules that feel like you can pop them like a pimple. What is this?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted that you have a basic problem of bad odor coming from the underside of buttocks. You have been scrubbing and cleaning twice a day.
The cause is not obviously anal fissure or hemorrhoids as you have not given any history related to such problems hence taken for granted.
The commonest cause is overgrowth of the bacteria in the area you mentioned which produce the smell as its byproduct of metabolism.
To eradicate the problem I would advise you the following:
Clean the area with plain water and never scrub as this causes small injuries that cause harboring of these saprophytic bacteria.
Apply liquid povidone iodine locally 4 times a day to make the area sterile.
Oral 5 day course of an antibiotic, metronidazole in low dosages and probiotics help to eradicate such a problem.
Keep the area ventilated as increased humidity can allow overgrowth of such bacteria.
Use loose underwear and pants.
Avoid the hot humid area and atmosphere.
Stop onions, garlic, spicy foods, meat and fish. Be a pure veggie.
